Tracker's End (Wind Dragons MC #3)(70)
Author: Chantal Fernando

“Thirty minutes early?” I ask with wide eyes. “What do you go there and do?”

“Sit outside her classroom.”

I smirk. “Is this why I heard Arrow calling you a psycho mother the other day?”

She scowls, eyes narrowing slightly. “Yes. The bastard. Wait until he has a kid, then he’ll understand.”

Anna walks into the room. “The men are in a bad mood.”

“Yeah.” Faye sighs. “They’re trying to find out what happened to Allie, get to the bottom of it, but hitting dead ends at every turn. They’ve been gathering info on the Kings of Hell, but besides the drugs, we’ve found nothing. And they’re just as curious about us as we are about them. Apparently one of them has the hots for Lana, which is why they were watching her that time.”

My cheeks heat. “W-what?”

“Yeah,” Faye says, grinning wide. “I thought Tracker was gonna combust when he heard that. He wanted to head over to the Kings of Hell clubhouse and beat the shit out of whoever is coveting his precious Lana.”

I throw her a look. “Maybe you should be the author. I’m sure that’s an exaggerated story.”

She shrugs. “It’s romantic though. Biker romance at its finest. You should write that in too.”

Anna shakes her head, making a face. “You’re crazy.”

“Crazy like a fox,” Faye retorts, then grins at Anna. “Wanna head to the gym? Could use a sparring session.”

Anna sighs. “Just got my period, so not pregnant, so why the hell not?”

Faye looks to me. “Wanna learn some moves? They’re great for real life and the bedroom.”

How can I say no to that? “What about Clover?”

“I’ll ask Dex to get her,” she says, pulling out her phone and ringing him.

“Okay.”

I stand up. “Show me.”

Of course the men walk into the gym while Faye has me pinned to the ground, straddling me.

“I’m so hard right now,” I hear Rake say, then “Ouch,” as one of the men must have hit him.

“Oh come on, don’t pretend you’re not,” he says to Tracker, then looks at Anna. “I’m pretending you’re not even here.”

“Appreciated,” Anna replies in a dry tone.

Tracker walks over to us and looks down, smiling. “Learning a few moves, are you?”

Faye lets me up. “She’s small but fast.”

“I think I have a long way to go,” I say, raising on my tiptoes to kiss my man. “But it’s kind of fun. Exhilarating.”

“Rake’s right. I am turned on right now,” he admits, grinding his pelvis into me. “But then again, you breathe and I get turned on.”

“Get a room!” Anna calls out.

“Or a couch!” Rake joins in. “So we can all watch.”

“You said you weren’t going to bring that up again, you bastard!” I yell.

“Rake,” Tracker growls. “Leave my woman alone or we’re getting in that ring.”

I roll my eyes. “Are you guys here for anything other than to annoy us and disrupt a very educational experience for me?”

Sin walks in and we all look to him. “President of the Kings of Hell is here at our gates. Claiming he wants to talk. He’s alone.”

The men all share glances.

“Where’s Clover?” Faye asks, looking worried.

“She’s at my mom’s,” he says. “Safe, don’t worry.”

“I don’t like it,” Arrow announces, looking to Anna. “The women are in here.”

“We have guns,” Faye says. “He’s alone. Two of you hold him at gunpoint while he talks.”

“Faye,” Sin growls. “Stay here with the women. Don’t fucking move.”

“Yes, sir,” she replies, saluting him.

Tracker kisses my mouth. “Stay here.”

Arrow does the same to Anna. “Don’t separate.”

The men leave, closing the gym door.

Anna and I look to Faye for guidance. “Let’s get armed just in case,” she tells us, walking over and lifting a board in the floor. I glance inside, to see it’s full of weapons.

It’s on.

* * *

“It wasn’t them,” Sin announces. “Took balls for him to walk in here, unarmed and alone, wanting us to know they didn’t touch Allie, and they’re not here to get in our shit.”

I’m pretty sure everyone was thinking the same question.

Who the hell killed Allie then, and why?

Tracker holds my hand, rubbing his thumb along my knuckles. When I look down at his hands, I notice that they’re red and swollen. “Who did you hit?” I ask.

He glances down at his hands as if only just realizing he had marks on them. “Someone got in the way of my fist.”

“Who?”

Rake chuckles. “This morning Tracker ran into the guy from the Kings who wants you. Let’s just say he won’t bother looking in your direction again.”

I gasp. “You didn’t.”

“Why?” he replies. “You like having men panting after you, is that it? He should have known better than to want someone who’s mine, and now he does.”

I actually felt sorry for the guy. He didn’t even approach me.

“You’re so . . . mean!” I whisper.
